Rollerblade Comet Ice Skates Review

This skate runs one full size small, I wear a 10 in everything and I had to send it back for an 11.The quality seems to be good and it is very stiff laterally, which I was worried about prior to purchasing.The crank fastening system at the top is great for cinching the skate tighter than I would be able to with laces, and it's easier out in the cold weather since you don't have to remove your gloves.I don't play, just skate recreationally, and this skate is perfect for that.

Rollerblade Zoom Ice Junior Ice Skates Review

I bought these for my 4 1/2 year old son. He's worn them twice and says that he feels comfortable in them. Since they lace, velcro and snap closed it is easy to get a tight fit. The skates fit him right out of the box, so I have not had to use the size adjust feature but it appears to be easy to do.

K2 Moto 100 Custom Fit Mens Inline Skates Review

Great skate.These are comfortable and fast. I recomend
them for advanced beginer to advanced fitness skater. These are by no means racing skates. They are fast out of the box. When it comes time to change the bearings I will go with the ilq-9 pro insted of the classic. It's only 10 dollers difference in price for a better bearing.All in all great skate, comfortable, perfect for my neeeds as a recreational skater that does not want to be on slow skates. Two thumbs up.

K2 Exo 80 Mens Inline Skates Review

I got those roller blades because my old once finally broke I normally wear size 11.5 and ordered those at size 12 and they where perfect. They are the best pair of skates I have ever owned. They are very fast and feel strong. The price on Amazon is amazing just make sure you order ½ size bigger then your shoes size and you are good to go. I did about 12 miles on them yesterday and there was no problem what so ever with the skates and oh yeah I'm 240 lbs because I weight lift and the skates had no problem holding me.

Roller Derby Women's Roller Star Quad Skate Review

I just bought these skates and I haven't had a pair of skates since I was a little girl!

But I started to remember how to skate not but five minutes after putting them on in my kitchen! And I am having so much fun! They skate really well, I love the white and purple tires! The white is a perfect canvas for me to doodle and draw on them! I'm so excited! I only gave them four stars because frankly I just bought them and haven't been skating for very long. But i'm sure with time and practice and a LOADS of FUN i'm going to edit this review and give these neato skates five stars! I can't wait to be a roller derby girl!

Oh and I bought them at Academy: Sports & Outdoors for only $35.00 so they were a great deal!

Rollerblade Spiritblade III Inline Skates Review

These skates didn't quite last two days.I purchased the size 13 skates, because normally I wear a size 14 shoe and when I tried the 13's on (the largest size most inline skate companies seem to produce) they seemed to fit nicely.And the first time I took the skates out for a trial run, they seemed to be great!I was very happy to have found these skates.

Unfortunately, the second time I took them out for a skate on the local bike path (the same route I skated the first day), I noticed that the right skate suddenly felt loose, and that I had no right-ankle support.After stopping and inspecting the skate, I found that the top buckle-in support strap wouldn't stay closed, making that skate much too loose for wear.It's hard to describe here, but the mechanism that's supposed to hold that strap tight rests on an unbelievably tiny hook, fastened in by a correspondingly unbelievably tiny piece of plastic.This mechanism had apparently broken or failed in the course of 48 hours of use.I've since returned the skates, my search for quality inline skates in my size continues, and I strongly recommend against this particular model.

Wenger Multi-Tool Rollerblade Knife Multi Tool Review

I was so excited to get this nifty tool! It combines the always useful blade and bottle cap opener with a Philips screwdriver, a couple of hex keys and a bearing pusher supposedly specifically designed for inline skate maintenance.
Unfortunately, it's pretty much useless with my Rollerblade brand SpeedMachine 100 inline skates.
First, the screwdriver blade is the wrong shape for the brake pad.
Second, the hex section of the hex key is too short to reliably drive the wheel hubs.
Too bad, because there definitely is a market for a tool that is better designed, more pocketable and less fragile than the Rollerblade star. Sadly, this is not it.

K2 SPORTS Junior Merlin Skates with Elbow and Wrist Pads Review

Bought these skates for my boys (11, 8) after looking at them in a sporting goods store. The size range is enough that even my oldest son should get two years of skating out of them. Both boys have remarked how comfortable they are and how smooth they ride. The lace locks and straps do a great job of providing support, but they did require a little bit of teaching up front with both kids. The pads and wrist guards were a nice addition and seem like they will provide more than adequate protection (no falls yet). Durability remains to be seen, but first impressions are that they will be outgrown before they wear out.

Rollerblade Men's Speedmachine RX 110 Skate Review

don't kid yourself, these puppies are fast! They don't turn very well but thats not why you buy this style of blades! They come stock with HTO PRO bearing witch makes iceskates seem inefficient by comparison. This style of boot is low enough to give you flexability but high enough to give support for marathons, witch is exactly what there designed to do but keep in mind that they gather speed quick and can put you in areal pickle if you dont know how to use em, expecially when your 5 inches off the ground with a bunch of wheels attached to your feet!! Oh and just think....Ceramic bearing are faster but only to be used indoors where these blades/bearings can be used everywhere

K2 Moto Men's In-Line Skates Review

Perspective:I consider myself a little above the average joe in terms of fit, health and athletic level.

I did spend a little time doing extensive research before purchasing this skates taking into considerations my needs for exercise, lesiure skating, and experience level.The skate is a little pricier than others but is worth it.I have enjoyed using the skates so far.

The skates seems very well made and has nice features like the soft boots, the easy to slip on strings, clips and straps.I used to rollerblade in college so getting back into this skate was fun and made me realized how much I lost many of the skating skills.The skates is relatively fast and in my opinion for novice it might be too fast.I've used it for exercises and playing with my kids (skating while they're riding their bikes).I recommend wrist pads @ the mininum if you end up buying this or any other skates.I typically will use just wrist pads or wrist and knee pads depending on my mood and speed I plan on going.

I haven't used it often or long enough to determine the wear and tear based on normal usage but the quality of the skates so far is very good.I can see myself using this for a few more years.
