I have been ice skating for about 4 months now, am in Basic 4, and can't STAND figures skates.I've been using the hockey skates at the rink but I wanted a pair of my own.These stood out because I get a hockey skate WITH a toepick so when I get to Basic 7 and 8, I'll be able to do some jumps.Love the toepick!The thinsulate really keeps your feet toasty warm, which was such a relief to my icicle toes!The shoelaces, velcro, and buckle really strap you in so you can feel very snug and secure in your boot.They are a bit uncomfortable, but I'm sure this is because they are brand new and need to be broken in.
All in all, these are great skates for a beginner and especially for the price!
